It’s been a while since I’ve stayed up all hours of the night to finish a book, but this book? Good lord I could not put it down. I have said it multiple times and I’ll continue to say it: I freaking adore Chelsea and every single one of her books. I swear each time I read one, I add another book boyfriend to the top of my list. If she writes it, I’m going to buy it no questions asked.
I knew when I first met Maverick Miller in Behind the Camera he was going to ruin me and ruin me he did. This man. THIS. MAN. I just have no words because he is everything and more. And Emmy?! Gosh darn it, she is fiesty and takes no sh*t and I freaking love her. Put the two of them together and 😮💨. Their chemistry is off the charts and their banter is top notch. I was uncontrollably giddy, kicking my feet and squealing throughout reading this and I’m glad I read this in the confines of my home because I could not control it.
I cannot wait to see what else Chelsea has in store for us with the D.C. Stars and I will be (im)patiently waiting for the next book 💙
