I was recommended this on finishing Jane Austen’s Persuasion…. It is a lovely little book. It didn’t persuade me to totally fall in love with Austen but it is a lot mor than that. It is the sort of little book any reader, bookworm and book lover would enjoy. I recommend it for a joyful read..unless you are pregnant and then it does talk about childbirth before medicine…
