Honestly, I doubt that anyone will be surprised by the ending, but the journey is worth every second. The writing (and in my case, the narration of the audiobook) is amazing. There are so few books that cover this territory without a heavy dose of didacticism and it was a refreshing, heart-wrenching, joy-inducing read!
