I read Deborah Martin's "Green Witch's Cupboard" first and I recommend that one. It has all this information along with how to grow the herbs and more herbs, seeds, and fruits detailed. Still enjoyed this and would recommend it to people who are overwhelmed bu too much information at once.

My main concern is that Martin seems to be reprinting verbatim the same information from one book to the next. To her credit, "Green Witch's Cupboard" expands what's in "Triple Duty Spice Rack" offering gardening instruction and nearly double the herbs/seeds/fruits. Her style seems aimed to be friendly and genuinely helpful.
