I'm blown away!

I came for the cover, and the fluff and brain rot, BUT THE FLOW OF THE PLOT HAD ME!
So well written, the pacing was excellent, just enough information revealed at the right time to keep you turning the pages.
The translation is excellent too, the word choices are appropriate, and the flow of the sentences are natural.

There's not much fluff in this volume, but I can't complain, because the stage is set for the coming volumes, and I cant wait to dive in. (Considering the last sentence of Volume 1, how can you not want to immediately dive in Volume 2?)

Oh, and Yan Wushi, you better be falling first, and fall hard! Everything you do now is on a whim, for your own benefits, BUT I WAIT FOR THE DAY YOU BEG FOR SHEN QIAO'S ATTENTION.

Shen Qiao is so precious!
"But this flower was good natured, always tender hearted and compassionate. That's why it met with trouble after trouble. It seemed to bring all the trouble on itself, but it also anticipated and accepted the consequences of suh tenderness. If others thought that softness was a weakness, then it was they who were truly blind."

I can't wait to see him recover to his full strength and use his enemies to wipe the floor.
