A bit inconsistent in pacing but I enjoyed Ella’s character and her narration. Written in a way fit for MG, YA and adult readers although repetitive in theme and the various languages might be jarring for well-versed linguists and fantasy nerds as well as the hurry up and wait pacing that I detected.

Great world building and character development! I would’ve loved this story as a child.
