Eynhallow by Tim McGregor

5.0

A beautifully written historial horror.

Have you heard of the mysterious Isle of Eynhallow? I hadn't and I think that was a good thing. I enjoyed going into this book most of the way blind. This book explores the island, the families living off the land, and the mysterious guest who rows in one night.

Agnes and her family live off the land on the small, isolated isle of Eynhallow. Life takes a drastic turn when a strange man rows ashore, and with him comes sightings of something large and foreboding.

Overall I really enjoyed this one. It made me feel the same happy feeling I had when I read Slewfoot a few months ago.
