Practice Makes Perfect by Sarah Adams
4.0
I’ll keep this one short and sweet:
This was super cute. I loved both Annie and Will and enjoyed seeing some other characters that I loved from When In Rome. I laughed out loud a lot (as I always do when reading Sarah Adams books) and even cried a bit, but I got pretty annoyed because I kept feeling like the issue keeping them apart was about to get resolved after one of them would have a revelation about it but then in the next scene it was like they didn’t have any revelation at all. Like, I thought we just went over this! Marriage also kind of got painted to be a negative/overrated/unnecessary thing by the end, which bothered me a bit. Commitment issues drive me crazy, especially when they are almost presented as a healthy thing.
4 stars.
swiftie section: reminded me of So It Goes… and Stay, Stay, Stay.
