Queer, paranormal, seeing ghost? Sign me up, did this book follow through for me? No. Jake was so one dimensional and boring as a character. I understand that he wanted to separate himself from others because he was afraid of his ability being difficult for other people to deal with but my goodness did it make him insufferable. It just felt like a lot of complaining to me and no real introspection on the MMC part. I found the premise interesting but the actual story fell flat for me.
