The Book of Souls by James Oswald
5.0
DI Tony McLean has never really got over the death of his fiancée at the hands of the Christmas Killer Donald Anderson. Now Anderson is dead and McLean attends the funeral to make sure he's finally gone. He's in the middle of investigating a series of arsons on old buildings being redeveloped and then a woman is found murdered and the similarities to the Christmas Killer's mo is uncanny. Is there a copycat or had McLean put the wrong person in prison? Another two women are abducted and murdered in the same manner and then someone close to McLean and his team goes missing. Second book in a series by James Oswald and I've really enjoyed reading the first two. Like the characters - especially Grumpy Bob - and look forward to seeing how they develop in the next books in the series.
