I love @kelleyarmstrongauthor’s A Rip Through Time series. In this series, Kelley does a fantastic job of combining historical fiction, science fiction, and mystery genre elements to create characters and story lines that are unique and interesting.
Disturbing The Dead is the third book in this series. It picks up where book 2 left off, with Mallory still in Victorian Scotland and assisting the undertaker, Dr. Duncan Gray. Their next mystery begins at a mummy unwrapping party. From there, the story is full of twists, turns, and surprises. There are a few storylines that are wrapped up in this novel, but ultimately the ending leaves room for more adventures with Mallory and Duncan in the future. I cannot wait to find out what crazy case is dropped on their doorstep next!
I do recommend reading this entire series in order, especially this book. I highly recommend this book and series to readers who enjoy crime thrillers with unique perspectives. I also highly recommend listening to the audiobook version of this series. Kate Hanford does an excellent job with the narration!
Thank you @macmillan.audio for allowing me to listen to this audiobook ahead of publication in exchange for my honest review.
