I liked the main character right from the start. However, in the first half of the story, we mostly get flashbacks of the two main characters’ past interactions, and I was a little concerned because I wasn’t feeling the chemistry. But once they finally meet at the Christmas party in the present timeline, sparks fly. I enjoyed the second half much more than the first, and the guy in this story is incredibly swoony—he makes her Christmas ornaments for her tree! How sweet is that?
