I enjoyed this one, i liked seeing more of the overall story ark, but i really enjoyed seeing Shay grow as a person after finding Dirge, not to mention Dirge's personal growth. I enjoyed seeing them bond before he shifts to human, it was bittersweet but also very cute. I really liked how protective Shay was of Dirge when he was a wolf but not overly impressed with how she acted when they got the shamans lands, conversely i was impressed that she stood her ground with him, even if she essentially immediately forgave him. I'm curious about Brand, is her her father? Or just a fae that knew what she was? So many unanswered questions but since I'm not a huge fan of Leigh I'm probably not going to continue the series .. but i may google the plot of the next books, I'm not sure yet
