So cozy and endearing. I picked this audiobook because it was relatively short and I wanted to take a crack at the book before watching the movie; however, I was not expecting to be so attached to a robot and her gosling son. Peter Brown gave such life to this island and its cast of animal characters (special shoutout to the thespian opossum). I can't wait to read the other books in the series. Highly recommend it if you need good found family vibes. This book felt like a nice, warm blanket on a cold, dreary day - and I am not just saying that because of the impending winter storm that's hitting Houston in roughly 24 hours.

“If you stand in a forest long enough, eventually something will fall on you. And Roz had been standing in the forest long enough.” - I'm including this quote just because I chuckled when I heard it.
