So I was pretty much sucked into Nemerever's writing from the start. It was luscious and compelling, and I'll admit, at times too smart for me, but I loved it.
This was a dark story about some very mentally unstable boys that latch onto and enable each other and refuse to let go of their toxic relationship.
The characters aren't characters that I loved because they're likable (they aren't), or even that I could relate to (I couldn't), but I was so weirdly fascinated by their fascination and obsession with each other I couldn't put this book down.
