Content Warnings: Death [loss of a sibling, loss of a BFF, loss of a parent(s)], grieve, sexual content, car accident, medical trauma, sexism, bullying, and pregnancy. 

My plan was to read 50-100 pages and then play some video games, watch some tv...I read the entire book in one sitting. I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. This was my first RVD read...and it will definitely not be my last. 💜

We get grumpy/sunshine, childhood BFFs brother to lover [or Sisters BFF to lover depending on how you look at it lol], second chance romance, and forced proximity all rolled into one beautiful, emotional, hilarious, and sexy story. 

As soon as I opened the book and read the dedication, which had me laughing and relating, I knew RVD was someone I was going to like. Then seeing that there was a page in the beginning for content warnings *chefs kiss* 

This story took me through so many emotions and I cannot wait to read more of RVD's backlog. 

Okay now for my tiny pet peeves lol Heather didn't show any kind of redemption to deserve a HEA...unless we're getting another book which will help us better understand/relate to her? Also why mention the sexual tension between Banks and Olivia but then throw Banks with Heather at the end...just felt unnecessary to mention Olivia if she wasn't going to be a bigger part of the story. Okay that's my complaints 😜
