Reread July 2024: 4.5 stars. Incredible characterization, plot, worldbuilding; underwhelming but serviceable prose. I appreciated seeing the cosmere connections this time. I liked the portrayal of depression. I don't know if the book needs to be a thousand pages long; I also enjoyed reading all thousand pages.
