Come to the Window by Howard Norman

To be honest I don't really have a lot to say on this one. I didn't really get the point to most of the story. It wasn't like the murder was some big mystery, she confessed in like the first two pages. It mostly is just this reporter writing in his journal about what he experienced that day. The concern over influenza becomes a plot point almost randomly it feels like and then his boss sends him to do a human interest piece that somehow ends up connecting back to the murder. I just really wasn't a fan of this one. It felt like nothing happened the entire story and the things that did happen made no sense. I wanted to like it because who doesn't enjoy a nice cozy read... I usually don't want a book to end but this one couldn't end fast enough for me.
