Dom by S.J. Tilly
5.0
This is my perfect mafia over-the-top extremely out-of-pocket mafia romance that I would expect from SJ Tilly. The first two books in this series were enjoyable however THIS ONE, I have no complaints was exactly what I needed and everything I could want from an obsessed mafia hero written by Tilly. Dom was hot as hell. Yeah, you could say that he was unrealistic and a walking red flag but good thing I wear my rose-colored glasses because DAMN he had me in a chokehold. I also really enjoyed watching Val's growth over the book. She was sunshine and rainbows personified and everything she went through broke my heart but I am so glad she had Dom to help show her the proper way to show love and care for one another. Also, this is officially the top tier of my microtrope tattoo obsession because, the neck tattoo and finger tattoo hello?!?! I was speechless!
I really enjoyed seeing the other book's characters in this as well. King was on my shit list for a hot second and truly Val deserved a million apologies from both her siblings but by the end I didn't hate him as much lol. Love the little found family they have created. The banter with the three alliance men was everything to me? I was crying and laughing like I was not expecting that but the Dom and Nero banter specifically had me cackling. Excited for the next book and will be obsessing for this one for some time!
