It’s finally Roan’s turn to be loved! *cue tears*
When Roan gets a call to help with a deer wrapped in fencing wire he’s miffed to say the least. But when he turns up to meet Aspen the red haired cafe manager at The Brew and gets dragged in to the barn by her mini me daughter Cady some things change for her. Soon Aspen and Cady need help and protection and what starts as sleeping on their couch for one night… changes to weeks. But someone’s out to hurt them. Can Roan keep them safe, and keep his heart safe still from everyone?
Ohhhh!! I loved this one!! I think this is definitely my favourite after slowly getting to know Roan from the outside the last 3 prior books! 😭😭 they make such a beautiful glitter filled family! People don’t withdraw for no reason, people don’t jump for no reason. And although this wasn’t an overly realistic view it still got to me! Once again this town sees unbelievable violence, so don’t think it’s any less traumatic what the characters experience. But now it’s finally time for Papa Lawson’s story!
