Stone Blind by Natalie Haynes

A mythological feminist envisioning of the Gorgon Medusa being hunted by Zeus's mortal son Perseus while aided by his goddess daughter Athena. It was fantastic. It was complex. It was droll and sardonic and an exceedingly good time. The author's narration was fantastic. I walk away with a decent understanding of Greek mythology, unless what I wrote above makes no sense and I missed the plot. The prose is dense and plot is thick. I had to read this book twice to understand it. I spent a lot of time thinking about how the temper of the gods reflects the fallacy of man.
