Elsie Silver’s The Chestnut Springs is one of the most hyped up romance series of this year, and though I wasn’t planning on reading it (cowboys are definitely not my cup of tea), my friend convinced me to try Heartless and lent me her copy. I ended up enjoying the single dad and nanny dynamic, and could for the most part look past the cattle scenes (nothing about raising animals for food screams sexy to me). Definitely not a new favorite, but very addictive to read.
