Cleopatra and Frankenstein by Coco Mellors

i have a love hate relationship with this book, as well as cleo and frank. the characters are complex and are well written with flaws and imperfections that make them feel real. i don’t exactly know how to describe my feelings for this book. i despised some of the storyline when it came to frank and cleo but i also know where they’re both coming from. but i also enjoyed reading some parts of the book, along with the different storylines of the side characters. these characters are complex and their storylines are just interesting; and seeing their different point of views just adds to what they’re experiencing. there is a lot i could say about this book but i don’t really have the words for it. i dreaded but also enjoyed reading this book. i would recommend this book since it is a good read but i do have to say that the chapters can be very long which didn’t help with my short attention span.
