A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess

5.0

I read this back in like 2006, when I was a teenager. It's an excellent time to read this book, as it's language, play, edgy themes, and boundary pushing will really challenge readers in their formative years.

I love this book, because we studied it, and I mean really studied it. But at this point my love for this book is nostalgic. I'm not sure I would need to re-read this but I view it as an important stepping stone in my reading journey that I would be remiss to do without. I still use some words and phrases from this book on the regular as they're so very memorable and expressive.
