2.5
As soon as I finished A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, I put this book on hold. I was so eager to get to it and get sucked back into Pip's world. However, this book felt so unnecessary. It seemed like such low stakes and not as fleshed out compared to the first book. It didn't seem like anything was happening until 40% through the book and then it fell flat again. The mystery was not as fleshed out and I don't think having a podcast as the case went on in such a small town was a good idea.
