Wow, I have JUST literally read the last sentence on the very last page; my eyes glossy from incoming tears.

This was a very hard read at times, but so damn important. I have plans to dig into this novel again very soon and annotate it thoroughly. I have no shame in saying this is a masterpiece and so thought provocation. I even questioned myself a few times when reading some of the main character's thoughts on what really happened to her. Tread lightly for Kate Elizabeth Russell pulls no punches. reading the graphic scenes of abuse, grooming and gas lighting made me squirm.

*I plan on diving into this book again after a few other books on my TBR list and giving it a real review. These are just my scrambled thoughts having just finished the novel.
