I loved this audiobook. The different actors and interactions between the players
I'm not sure that the story would have worked if they hadn't been "gods", but the foreshadowing was awesome. I was not expecting Shadow to interrupt the plan that Odin and Loki had in place for more power, and there was the "secondary?" story about Lakeside and that town.
