Oohh this volume is darker than the anime!! I LIKE IT!

I love the way the anime handled these events, but I also love how the manga differed from that too. Neither feels out of place with the characters - I’d even say the manga adds more to Barnaby’s depth as a character! I think the bond between him and Koutetsu feels stronger in the manga, but maybe that’s because so much was set up to happen in the anime. (I’ve also heard most people say the ‘manga’s better’, though I’m happen just experiencing more of this series!)

It’s cool that there is a darker side to this series than what I saw in the anime because I was curious. SO looking forward to the climactic boss fight!!
