Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez
5.0
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Abby Jimenez is an author that I have had on my to read shelf for so long but never got around to reading and I'm so upset that I didn't start sooner. I have read both Just For The Summer and Yours Truly this month and both have been 5 star reads.
I really liked the anxiety representation in the book and the miscommunication felt normal and like real things that could be misconstrued based on how the characters were reacting. How Briana was stressed about how real her feelings were while thinking that Jacob was not as into her and was still pretending when his internal dialogue discusses how he's head over heels in love with her and keeps doing things to try to show her how he feels. He is the standard.
He went out of his way to make her feel loved and supported. Giving her his phone password, meeting her friends and family, and learning the things about her that she wasn't necessarily proud of in order to learn why she is the way she is.
Abby Jimenez I am in your walls. I will be reading the rest of your books now.
