Most of the way through this book I was absolutely hooked and thought it would be a 5 star from me but the ending disappointed me a little. 

Everything wrapped up in a little bow, but I wanted some uncertainty, some fire and it became fairly bland. How their lives turned out in the end was too predictable like there was nothing left. I almost feel that they could have ended it after Davy and Caden found each other again but they went on and it dragged into a very tame ending.

I definitely think that this book was better than the first one but the ending was lacking.
