A Prince So Cruel by Ingrid Seymour
5.0
I heard so much about this book from TikTok and picked it up. I was not disappointed. This book is a mix between Beauty and the Beast an Jekyll and Hyde. It is action packed, magic packed, just wonderful.
Dani, a human healer, has been taken while shopping for supplies in the fae realm. Travel is open between realms, so she is surprised by this. She finds out that the fae prince, Kalyll, wants her to accompany him on a trip to faraway Mount Ruin. The reason behind this quest is secretive, but of utmost importance.
The journey is long, but surprisingly they stop early each evening. Does it have something to do with the howling Dani hears at night?
After a failed attempt to escape leads to a close encounter with a giant wolf and even larger crab, Dani decides to make the best of the situation and learn more about the fae. She and the other travelers reach a trucew. Dani learns more about the reason for the journey..and wants to help. But when the situation requires new methods, Dani finds herself longing for more than she can have...
Oh, this book was riveting! I am starting book 2 immediately!
