This is a bonus Amazon Kindle First Read for September 24. I wouldn't have picked it if it hadn't been.
Divorced Lucy and younger woman Elle meet at a party and connect instantly. They start spending almost all their free time together and even plan to work together on a book. Then Elle makes weird comments about Lucy's friends and later Lucy learns that Elle has betrayed her.
As short stories go, this one was boring and rushed, telling us everything, how we should feel and what to learn from this. Nothing interesting happens.
Thankfully it's only 44 pages long.
