There are no word on how engaged I was while reading this. V.e.Shwab has this grab on me.

I love the world building. And I love the characters so much.
It is a younger YA, no romance whatsoever, found family and the biggest thing i loved about this book is that the main character, Olivia, is mute, and the other main character, i think visual dyslexia.

The book is weird ( in the best way) and dark. We have a cursed family in this huge mansion Gallant. There is a wall there that is actually a gate to the other world: a world of spirits and Death himself. Ghost live in Gallant and Olivia is able to see them and communicate with them. They hear her thoughts and listen to her.
