I just finished reading this for the third time and noticed that I didn't have a review so finally, here it is...
GARRETT. Need I say more..?
In my mind, Garrett is the tallest and the most buff Kelly/KGI member. But he's really just a big ole teddy bear with the girls. We've seen the sweet, protective of him with Rachel and (in the end) Sophie, but it was nice to see more of it and at the focus of the book. He's rough but he's sweet.
I loved that Sarah, even being a frightened woman on the run, was still strong and independent. But being that she was such a recluse in Boston for so many months after the incident, it makes me not really like that she just kind of jumped into an intimate relationship with Garrett. I guess she didn't really jump in but it seemed a little quick for me. I understand that it had to be included because it is romantic suspense but it was still a little soon for me. (Just my personal opinion. Obviously.)
August 2017 reread: basically the longest reread of my life. 😂
I noticed this time that there seemed to be a lot of "I'm an idiot" or "I'm stupid" coming from Sarah. Not a fan of that..
