I mean it’s an In Death book.

I love these characters so much there isn’t much that would make me dislike one of these books. But I actually really enjoyed the mystery. I liked the way Nora went back to the killer and their mother’s past. I enjoyed those insights.

I did guess the killer but this is book 50 something so not shocking. And that doesn’t bother me. I read these books for these amazing characters and some solid mysteries. They don’t need to be completely out of left field for me to enjoy them.

Now I shall wait until September for the next one. Sigh.
