The Pink Hotel by Liska Jacobs
dark
mysterious
slow-paced
I really liked the premise of the book but sadly it wasn't my cup of tea.
I liked the writing style. I was easily able to picture the hotel and people in my head.
The characters were very stereotypical, unlovable and unrelatable. I was also missing some depth in the plot. I just wasn't hooked at all, so I stopped after about 110 pages.
If you like slow-paced, atmospheric, character driven reads it is definitely worth checking out.
Thank you for NetGalley & Farrar, Straus and Giroux for the advance reader copy!
