“I wasn't aware that words could hold so much. I didn't know a sentence could be so full.”
Oh no. I’m turning into that person that person that says mean things about your favourite book. Though the descriptions of the marsh and the wildlife were pretty, I had a few problems with this.
Mainly, for the first half of this book things start to get very repetitive. Kya describes the wildlife, buys supplies, eats some grits. I very nearly gave up at 60%.
I wanted to like this, but when I listen to something for an hour or so and nothing new has happened, I just start to drift off.
