This was such a fun and light read and left me feeling so good and happy.

I liked the fact that there were some chapters from their past. Not too many to make it like a dual timeline, but enough for us to see how and when Casey's feelings for Jessie started and progressed over her teen years, which was honestly so cute.

I really loved Casey and how she cared about everyone in her life and showed them that through her actions. Her relationship with Jessie developed so well, and it was so cute to watch them become friends and watching it gradually turn into more as they spent more time. It was so easy to root for them, and they were just so good together.

Jessie had his own reasons to live his life in solitude, avoiding people and never letting anyone get close again because of his past experience. But he needed someone he could go to, and Casey was that person. She slowly helped him get comfortable with the group, become a part of it and was also just by his side with whatever he needed. She helped him realize that he wanted more for himself and not keep living in his past and in fear.

Jessie and Casey really fit well together and helped each other out so much. Casey helped Jessie feel again, which he felt was impossible given his past. He really had to work through his insecurities from his past in order to do right by Casey, and she waited for him patiently through it all. After being someone who went above and beyond to take care of everyone's needs, but never really being anyone's priority or focusing on what she needs, Casey finally had someone who took care of her and put her needs above all. Their way of letting each other know their feelings through classic literature was so damn adorable and I was just swooning so hard.

I also liked how things worked out between Casey and her sister, Grace, and how she slowly came to terms with the fact that she can't always fix everything and that she needs to voice out her feelings too.

Jessie and his dirty talking mouth. Good GOD!!! The spice was really good and had me blushing.
"I want you to choke me and tell me how pretty I am." Girl SAMEEE!!!

The side characters were all so different but worked together so well and were a group you'd want to be a part of. Rosie was just so amazing, and I can't wait to read her book.

Thank you Brittany and Truly Yours PR for providing me with the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
