when I tell you that I just finished this book with tears falling down my face, the biggest smile in the world at my cutest babies, and clutching this book to my chest in a hug … 🥹🫶🏼

(my mom was sitting next to me like 👀 are you good)

this is THE hades and peresphone retelling! there is NO competition at the passion, will they won’t they, forbidden love, accurate depiction of the gods, I could seriously go on for ages …

scarlett’s writing was so beautiful - it was the perfect blend between hades and peresphone’s original story and a modern day version!! I’m seriously in awe at how she made me SQUEAL over two grown ass GODS 🫠🥹🫶🏼

in other retellings, the side characters tend to be the selling point for me. and while lexa totally has my heart, this story was 110% about hades and peresphone and NO ONE ELSE! and I loved every second of it 🥰🥰

I’m really curious about the sequels in this series as the storyline wrapped up pretty perfectly, and I’m cautiously optimistic that they’ll be just as beautiful as this one was 🤞🏼

and can we talk about the equal amounts of cuteness and spice?! it seriously had everything I was asking for

this review is honestly just me gushing about this book for a couple of paragraphs, sorry not sorry 😙✌🏼

PLEASE READ THIS BOOK THANK YOU FOR COMING TO MY TED TALK
