I DNFed this at page 60, then skipped ahead to find that nothing really happens until page 100. The dialogue between the characters was awkward and unnatural, the kids are obnoxious, and there are so many unnecessary details about background things that don't seem to matter. I didn't like the writing style and I can't see myself ever wanting to finish this.
