Hardy plays football in England but has signed a one year contract to play soccer in the US, Miami. The League is trying to grow the sport and he is the face of it. His soccer skills are unmatched but it’s his off the field antics that keep, getting him in trouble. To make the League happy, he has to spend some time at a soccer club, running skills, signing autographs, and taking pictures. Needless To say, he is not happy about it. Especially when he decides not to show up and the club’s owner lets him know how she feels about it.

Enter Whitney, the soccer club’s owner. She does everything she can to keep the club running on very little funds. She is shocked to learn the Alexander Hardy is going to stop by. When he doesn’t show, she is furious, as he is disappointing the kids. She sees him out and lays into him. They definitely did not get off to a good start.

As they spend time together, despite their vastly different lives, they have a lot more in common than they think. Both of them suffer from their childhoods, feeling like they’re not enough or wanted, and that plays into any kind of relationship. But as they get to know the other, they see their true selves, genuine, caring, throughout, and love. Such a heartfelt story yet entertaining at the same time. Lots of funny moments and banter, lots of chemistry, and meaningful moments.
