I thought this was engaging enough but when people say it’s low stakes they mean it. 
It does feel like the same story formula repeats many times to create the novel but I thought it was nice. Definitely super cozy but yeah not my favourite. Wish there was more to the characters too, I just felt like it was more superficial than I usually like. 
Still a pleasant read but not something I’m itching to read again or talk about too much.
