"You love me. Real or not real?" I tell him, "Real."

My least favourite book of the series.

I can't believe Finnick died, I felt like his death (or Annie) wasn't given enough time or justice. Katniss loved him but didn't really mention his death.

"Stay with me." His pupils contract to pinpoints, dilate again rapidly, and then return to something resembling normalcy. "Always," he murmurs."

Then with Peeta, while I'm happy him and Katniss ended up together, I didn't like that we didn't get a lot of him, and we never really saw the old Peeta again. I wish we saw more of the gradual process of recovery. It felt like one minute he wanted to kill Katniss, then suddenly he tolerated her, then suddenly he loved her again.

"I think... you still have no idea. The effect you can have."

I'm glad Katniss killed Coin, maybe it was obvious but I knew she'd turn into the new Snow.

very enjoyable overall.

Sometimes when I'm alone, I take the part form where it lives in my pocket and try to remember the buy with the bread, the strong arms that warded off nightmares on the train, the kisses in the arena.
