Wow, I absolutely adored this book. The way Fae Quin writes her characters just pulls me in every time. I want expecting to cry during this cute Christmas story, but I didn't even get 70 pages in before my heart was just breaking for Baxter and I was blinking away tears. On the outside, he tried to be all sweetness, but inside he was suffocating in the unhealed sorrow of losing his sister and becoming a dad unexpectedly. The holiday buddies program was Becca's attempt to help him drop his walls and start living for himself again, and being forced to hang out with Paxton and his son definitely wasn't an experience he thought could be positive. Once Baxter called Paxton out for being a dick and Paxton realized he was being unfair to judge Baxter, both of their walls started falling down together and they realized they complimented each other perfectly. I loved watching their relationship develop. They were so, so sweet and supportive to each other, and WOW the spice in this book was off the chains sexy! Overall, this book made me cry, had me cracking up, and left me swooning big time. I loved it more than I can put into words!
