I'm offended Goodreads still has to ask how many stars I rate this. I would rate this a 10/5 stars if I could.
Anyway, two days and one bucket of tears later, I finally finished it. This book was something else. I can't remember the last time I cried over a book---or any media---this hard. I feel refreshed actually. Like, where do I even start? The first paragraph already did it for me. I just picked this up for fun and was only going to read the first chapter because I needed a break from another book. But then one chapter became two, two became three. Next thing I knew, I was sobbing, the tears wouldn't stop. And then the epilogue. Finishing a book have never been more painful. It felt like I was saying goodbye to people that have been with me my whole life even though I was only really with them for two days, not even 24 hours I think. I hope this book gains more attention, I just want everyone to also experience Luke and Landon's love story, Luke and Emmet's way back to each other's life, Emmet and Bowen's friendship, and everything else I fail to mention because this book was a lot. Every chapter there was a scene that hit me so close to home it was a wonder why I wasn't crying throughout the whole book. I legit had to put it down because I couldn't stop my tears when I got to the last few chapters.
In conclusion, everyone should read You & Me because it might also change you as a person.
11/26/22 - 2nd Reread
HELLO??? WHY IS THIS NOT THE MOST FAMOUS BOOK EVER???? I should be studying but I got so anxious last night and I just wanted comfort so I opened this book. AGAIN, I JUST WANTED TO READ A FEW PAGES. JUST TO CALM MYSELF DOWN. LOOK AT ME, 12 HOURS LATER, JUST FINISHED CRYING MY HEART OUT AGAIN BECAUSE OF THIS BOOK. Read it. READ IT.
