I definitely prefer Anne of Avonlea, but I still very much enjoyed reading this book. I think it’d be interested to read this at the end of next year, when I graduate, or at the end of my PGCE because then I think it would reflect a lot of the feelings that I know I will have about leaving university. This book captures the sense of loss and heartache that comes with growing up, finishing university, and moving on to the next chapter of life, but also the hope that comes with this.
