One Medicine: How Understanding Animals Can Save Our Lives by Matt Morgan

informative medium-paced

3.25

I was really excited about this based on the description but it felt a little flat for me.
I mostly just wish there were more facts than personal opinion/stories? I feel like the actual science behind the animal adaptations was explained a little, but there wasn’t much explanation of the link between the two and how it became commonplace. I think it would’ve been a more balanced book had this science been explained further.
It was overall interesting but just wasn’t my favourite nonfiction.
