I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy
4.0
Devastatingly raw and honest and so sincerely written. It was like a friend was telling me a story late at night during a sleepover. Really good pacing and I think the ending came at a natural time. I'm excited to read anything else she comes out with in the future.
Side note: As someone with obsessive compulsive disorder, I was really interested when reading the bits describing her obsessive compulsive tendencies. Our rituals have some overlap, which was weirdly comforting to read about. I could really relate to her struggling with massive amounts of guilt over every little thing despite nothing being her own fault.
