A great book!! However, my heart is so heavy from it, I need a break. This book is far from the light, fun story I was expecting as I went into the book knowing nothing about it. It is very well written with possibly a few humorous parts, but I wouldn't describe it as "incredibly funny" as Reese Witherspoon is quoted on the front cover.
Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine is a heartbreaking story of unspeakable tragedy and survival, and the tremendous courage it takes to put a traumatized life together. It is the difference between surviving and living.
