Wow okay so I read these books not in the right order (wolf king, then fair isle trilogy) but even so it was great to see them weave together. It was great to have seen Franco in the Fair Isle books and now see him get a chance at love. (Also other characters intertwined between stories that were great and I shall not give away!)

All that said, I love that these are standalone. While they were fun to recognize bits and pieces from the other books, the other books weren’t needed. Yippee!

This story is great because it’s Cinderella and does a great job matching the story without it being frustratingly obvious what is going to happen. It was well done.
